Shiba Swap Is Here
Wow, what a journey. As many of you know the highly anticipated Shiba Swap has finally been made public!!! Shiba Swap is now live! Now before I go on about the swap and how awesome it is, I really wanted to touch on the journey. My father always told me the journey is always greater than the destination and as I get older I am understanding what he meant by that. We started off hiding behind anon accounts talking about a plan that probably seemed CRAZY to other people.

Similar to other projects it started with an equal amount of want and will. Wanting to create a decentralized community isn’t an easy task. There is a lot of moving parts involved. Egos will clash, emotions run high, and things can get out of hand. Historically speaking many projects fail to really catch on not because of any outside force, but pure self implosion.
My entry into the Shiba Community was like many others. It was my dad who first told me to buy some $SHIB and said “There is something cooking there” he had no idea at the time but he would change the direction of my life forever from this moment.
I joined the discord server and that same night went down rabbit hole after rabbit hole. At this point people were doubting if ShibaSwap was even a real thing… As if ShibaToken.com was a scam and we were all giving our money to some evil developers who wouldn’t dare share their real identities. I was instantly drawn in. As a musician I understood the mysterious Shytoshi better than he knew.

This whole situation Shytoshi was in reminded me of the same situation many young drill artists found themselves in back when “I Don’t Like” got remixed by Kanye West. We were in the hood shooting dice one day, the next day we were the most sought out people in the city! Chief Keef obviously we had a lot to overcome and adapt to get to the point he is at today, one of the most influential modern musicians of our time.
So once I realized, Shytoshi has good intent. As you guys know I am big about energy and I felt his was nothing but pure. I decided to indulge myself in the community a step further. I sold all my DOGE and bought into SHIB. I was now a member of the #ShibArmy I started to interact with people on the Discord server and got mixed feelings. I noticed there was a lot of layers. In my eyes the top layer was filled with trolls, and people who were just joining and genuinely had questions or feedback about the project. Under that first layer laid a whole army of “MotherFudders” as i like to call them. MFs for short. These MFs would spread Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. I didn’t know for what reason at the time, and I didn’t care. I knew these MFs well. HATERS.
After getting through those top layers I finally found the heart beat of the community. The Shilluminati, The Shiba Power Rangers, The ShibaSuperHeros…. Whatever you want to call them, I now gratefully call them my friends. This was a group within the group dedicated to keeping information that was being spread true, didn’t matter it was good or not. This layer was very important to the project at whole because without this layer there was no substance.
Months went by as a group we anxiously awaited news about this mysterious Swap Daap that these mysterious Devs were putting together. We were given the smallest amounts of information that was only enough for the MFs to keep spreading FUD, and for us to speculate further on whats to come. Until the tutorials. Once the tutorials came out it gave us an insight on what ShibaSwap looked like from the inside and what its functions really are.
“Buy the dip, you’ll need it later” is all i thought as I kept going over the WoofPapers and watching the tutorials.
One day while going back and forth about our crazy price predictions and theories behind them with some of the ShibaPowerRangers on Discord I got a ping about new WoofPapers being released. A whole storm of anxiety stemmed from this. Now people understood how their $SHIB and $LEASH would be useful for them when ShibaSwap was finally released. Without a solid release date people went in full panic mode trying to acquire as much $LEASH and $SHIB as possible. One of the ShibaSuperHeros, Mindy made an epic automatic “$BONE Rewards Calculator” on an Excel spread sheet and the ShibaPowerRangers did our best to distribute it amongst the masses. We were finally able to see the estimated rewards that we would be given without having to do calculus every time. This helped a lot of us properly adjust our positions so we could reap the most benefits.
With my positions adjusted and some hints dropped by the Devs I found myself in front of my computer every night anxiously waiting for the swap to drop. It reminded me of times we were waiting for our albums to go live on iTunes, or premiering a new music video, anxiously awaiting a response from our fans.
Finally came June 6th 2021. Waking up I had no idea I would be hysterically refreshing the ShibaSwap page trying to Dig, Bury, and Woof later that night. I remember many people were frustrated with some things they thought were hints about SS being dropped on the 4th of July weeknd. This led to MFs going off spreading FUD more than usual. I kind of gave up hope pretty early compared to other days. I signed off around 10pm. Some hours passed when my girlfriend woke me up and said “Babe, I think Shiba Swap is out” She has given me a false alarm before when they updated “Use Swap” button on ShibaToken.com just days before, I could tell she knew for a fact this time. ShibaSwap has finally arrived!!
I shot out of bed like a bat out of hell. Jumping on my computer and seeing ShibaSwap load up for the first time is a memory I will forever have. Preparing for this exact moment for weeks now, I knew exactly what to do. Jumping on a group voice chat with the ShibaPowerRangers I could just feel the energy. It was unlike anything I have ever experienced, To know so many people have been waiting on this one event and to experience simultaneously with all of #ShibArmy was truly a special thing.
I can compare this event to a psychedelic experience. It almost felt like I left my body and was operating on auto pilot. Good thing I knew what I was doing. I instantly started to hear horror stories about people not knowing how to operate ShibaSwap and ended up burning their tokens instead. In walks in mini VB.
So many people were trying to access the website at once it was taking hours for pages to even load, but with persistance much like the persistanc ewe showed patiently waiting for the relesase to finally happen, me and the rest of the ShibaPowerRangers managed to get our assets working for us early. All our hard work finally paid off. We did it. WE. DID. IT. Let that sink in… ShibaSwap is here!
‘Craziest emotional rollercoaster I have ever been on’ is me under exaggerating. To my friends that I made on this journey; I truly wouldn’t trade you guys for all the money in the world. Walls were let down, personal problems came and went, MFs tried to take us off our path but with the support of each other we all stayed focused. I can truthfully say, I made some BIG moves using my crypto knowledge and made some real life long bonds along the way. To all my ShibaPowerRangers I love you guys!!! #ShibArmy SALUTE!!!!
What the future holds is uncertain, but one thing I am sure about, and I hate to admit, but my father was right. The journey was amazing.
